A gaze from Olvera

Olvera taught me to measure the air between things. In the hills, every element needs space to exist.

When I paint in Seville or travel, that measure travels with me. If I tighten the framing too much, the painting lies.

Returning to the village is not nostalgia: it is recalibrating the eye.
