A reduced palette, more truth

A wide palette looks like freedom and often is noise. I prefer a short core: earth, sienna, white, one cool and one warm.

With little material, mixes gain kinship. The painting stops fighting itself.

That economy also speeds closure: you know sooner what is surplus.
